BETH BOWLING-PYZ - Soccer Trainer
Coach Bowling is available for training all individuals and teams at any level. Coach Bowling also played for Coach Reilly's IVS Lady Bucs squad which won four consecutive League and County Championships receiving All-Conference Team Honors in the process. A SUNYAC All-Academic Team member for four years, Beth was one of four of Coach Reilly's athletes to help turn around a SUNY New Paltz team. Beth is one of the most versatile players to play the game. Beth netted a hat trick in a 3-0 win over SUNY Potsdam on Oct. 8, tying the single-game program record for goals and points for the Hawks and pitched in for a 1-0 shutout as a fill-in keeper!
The Hawks won not only their first-ever State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship Tournament game in 2011, but they followed it up with their first-ever league title with a 1-0 victory over SUNY Cortland in the championship match. Coach Bowling is one of the finest offensive-defensemen in the game.
Coach Bowling has been a staff member of the I-Buc Soccer Camp headed by Coach Reilly. Coach Bowling has worked with numerous teams and individuals throughout Suffolk County including the East Islip, West Islip and Pat-Med Soccer Clubs. Beth graduated from Suny New Paltz in 2013 and still plays competitively for Coach Reilly Women's team, the Long Island United. Beth has also been asked to be a guest trainer by several academies throughout the country.
Coach Beth was an assistant with Coach Reilly's 2015 Islip Lady Bucs team which finished the season as Undefeated League Champions, Suffolk County and Long Island Champions as well as help bring home Islip their first New York State Championship. Some of her collegiate honors include:
